Paneer Tikka

Paneer Tikka is a Indian dish, prepared with paneer (cottage cheese), capsicum, onions.marinated with Indian spices and squeezed some lemon juice.grilled in hot tawa or oven by arranging marinated cheese and vegetables In a stick.

I have used sour cream to marinate .

Try this simple recipe .done in 30 mins with very simple ingredients.

Ingredients

1 cup – sour cream,
1/4 teaspoon – turmeric powder,
1/2 teaspoon – chili powder,
1/2 teaspoon – garam masala,
1/2 teaspoon – coriander powder,
1/2 teaspoon – cumin powder,
1/2 teaspoon – salt,
1 teaspoon – ginger garlic paste,
1 small – diced onion,
1 small – bell pepper cubed,
1/2 lb – cubed paneer
1 tablespoon – lemon juice ,
Oil,
Chat powder,
Mint chutney

Description

In a medium sized bowl, add sour cream,turmeric powder,coriander powder,garam masala, cumin powder,red chili powder,salt,ginger garlic paste ,lemon juice and mix.

Now add cubed onions,capsicum/bell pepper,panner and mix well.

Set aside for 20 to 30 mins to marinate.

Heat a non stick pan, add oil.

When oil is hot ,add marinated vegetables and fry both sides until crisp and light brown.

Take out arrange in a stick or plate it.

Sprinkle some chat powder and serve hot with mint chutney.

NOTE : can replace sour cream with yogurt/curd and 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour/maida and marinate for 2 hours.
