Yes,it’s my all time favorite and it’s soo addictive.
Nutella hazelnut spread can be spread on bread toast,pancakes, waffles ,fruits or just have it in spoon!!
Homemade is no less than store bought and why not?? Preservative free ,fresh,tasty and healthy.
Do try and believe me it takes less than 20 mins to prepare.
1 cup/ 8 oz – roasted hazelnuts ,
1 cup – powdered sugar,
3 tablespoons – Dutch processed cocoa powder / dark cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon – salt
1/4 cup – coconut or hazelnut oil
1 teaspoon – vanilla extract
Preheat your oven @375 degree F.
Spread whole or chopped hazelnut on a parchment covered baking tray.
Roast it for 10 – 12 mins (chopped ) or 15 -18 mins (whole).
Let it cool.
Note – skip the above step,if u have bought roasted hazelnuts.
In a blender, blend roasted hazelnuts for 2 -3 mins until it leaves the oil and becomes hazelnut butter.
Add powdered sugar and cocoa powder (Dutch processed or dark). Blend again for 2 mins.. scrape the sides and mix.
Add coconut or hazelnut oil, salt and vanilla extract.
Blend well until everything incorporates.
Take out and store in mason jar or air tight container at room temperature for 3 to 4 weeks.
